A 1934 baritone sax designed by Adolphe Sax and manufactured by Selmer Paris.
Here’s an oldie, but a goodie!
An ‘Adolphe Sax’ Baritone saxophone made in the Selmer Paris factory in 1934 sometime after the company’s acquisition of Adolphe’s design.

So here’s some things you probably knew about Adolphe:
1. He Invented the saxophone
2. He was born in Belgium
3. He had a beard
But here’s some things you maybe didn’t know about him:
1. His real name was Antoine-Joseph
2. He also invented the family of conical bore valved brass instruments called ‘saxhorns’ which include flugelhorn and Euphonium
3. He had loads of near death experiences including falling on his head from a height of three storeys, almost drowning in a river and multiple poisonings
4. He died in poverty
Jokes aside, this bari actually sounds great and is an interesting piece of history which you can often find being sold for almost £3,000, but this one will only set you back £2,000

If like me you have nothing better to do than consume sax related media, here’s an interesting listen:
