Our rental scheme is designed to give learners the opportunity to take an instrument home for a few months before committing to purchasing one of their own.
To rent an instrument simply visit our store with two forms of ID (see T&Cs) and a valid debit card
Prices (Per month)
- Alto Saxophone - £25 (Brand new Zetland model)
- Trevor James 'Alpha' Sax - £30 (reduced keywork for young children)
- Tenor Saxophone - £30 (Brand new Zetland model)
- Used Alto Saxophone - £19*
- Used Tenor Saxophone - £25*
- Flute - £15
- *Subject to availability
Terms & Conditions
- Minimum of 3 months
- First months rent paid up front (3 months for distance rental)
- Refundable security deposit, 25% of the value of the instrument paid up front
- 100% of rent paid used against purchase if bought within 3 months
- 50% of rent paid used against purchase if made after 3 months
- Total of 6 months rent (50% of rent paid over 12 months) can be used against purchase
- Purchase must be the same rental instrument or another instrument of higher value (excluding commission sale instruments)
- Rental Payment via direct debit (stripe) on the same day every month.
- 2 forms of ID necessary, one photo (DL or Passport) and one proof of address (utility bill etc)
- ID address must be the same as the DD payment card is registered to
- Surcharge of £20 for delivery, where applicable
I had a fantastic experience with Tom and John at Headwind. After dropping my sax but needing it that same night for a show, the guys brought it back to life for me and even had it sounding better than before the incident! I’ll be back to them next time I’m in Bristol, and honestly can’t recommend them enough for their professionalism and service - it’s a real gem of a place for Woodwind players.
