Playing sax isn't cheap, so here's how you can win £2,000 cold hard cash to fund your new tooter.
Learning to play the saxophone doesn’t come cheap with even a basic second hand instrument costing a few hundred pounds. And if you stick at it for a few years you’re probably going to be looking at upgrading to an intermediate or professional level saxophone pretty soon which can cost thousands of pounds. (It could be worse, have you been bassoon shopping recently?!)
This winter we are giving one lucky player £2,000 towards a new saxophone in loving memory of the late Phil Watson.
Phil Watson, who died in November 2016, was well known on the Bristol music scene playing sax and sometimes clarinet in various bands, including Mini Massive Sax Flextet. She loved music, rock climbing, dogs, and her many friends. Thank you for the fun and laughter, Phil!
The money which made this competition possible has been generously donated to help someone who really needs it and to continue Phil’s saxophone-playing legacy.
Competition entry will begin on December 5th and will close on January X
